Filter Initial & Long Term Evaluation After Placement and Retrieval Registry Recruiting
More
A prospective data registry for all patients who undergo IVC (Inferior Vena Cava) filter placement or retrieval at Stanford. Potential enrollees will already be undergoing the procedure. If patients are willing, they will be prospectively enrolled prior to the procedure. As part of the study, chart and clinical data reviews will be used to track patient progress and response to the treatment.

A Phase IV Post Approval Clinical Study of ExAblate Treatment of Metastatic Bone Tumors for the Palliation of Pain Not Recruiting
More
The study hypotheses is that the proportion of patients experiencing clinically significant pain relief will be at least 30% greater than the proportion experiencing worsening pain.

Stanford is currently not accepting patients for this trial. For more information, please contact Ghanouni, Pejman, .

Curtis Langlotz

Senior Associate Vice Provost for Research, Professor of Radiology (Integrative Biomedical Imaging Informatics), of Medicine, of Biomedical Data Science and Senior Fellow at the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered AI
Clinical Focus
Diagnostic Radiology
Research Interests
My laboratory develops machine learning methods to help physicians detect disease and eliminate diagnostic errors. My laboratory is developing neural network systems that detect and classify disease on medical images. We also develop natural language processing methods that use the narrative radiology report for contrastive learning and other multi-modal methods that improve the accuracy and capability of machine learning systems.
